Vancouver Market Area Profiles

Welcome to BizMapBC, your one-stop source for neighbourhood and commercial area information describing Vancouver’s Business Improvement Areas (BIAs).

These profiles have been created to:

  • support merchandising and marketing decisions of local small businesses;
  • assist new start-ups, by providing relevant market assessment information;
  • assist businesses to evaluate the market potential of new locations;
  • assist Business Improvement Area (BIA) associations to attract new investment to their areas; and
  • support strategic planning within BIAs.

The commercial area profiles describe the business mix, land use, and development potential of the BIAs.

The neighbourhood market profiles describe the customer base of the BIAs, based on the adjacent neighbourhood.
